At the 2018 China International Industry Fair in Shanghai, ABB launched the new IRB 910INV flip-chip SCARA robot, becoming the latest member of ABB”s popular
SCARA robot series. By mounting the IRB 910INV on the ceiling, manufacturers can improve the space
efficiency and flexibility of each work unit, allowing them to complete more complex tasks within limited space. IRB 910INV can also work synchronously with
other robots and machinery within the same footprint to further improve production efficiency.

The IRB 910INV offers the same leading motion control performance as the original ABB IRB 910 series, ensuring repeatable point-to-point accuracy in pick and place, assembly
and test tasks, including small parts assembly tasks in the electronics industry such as screw tightening, insertion or
installation components, etc., as well as automated inspection solutions for quality control.
In the future, IRB910INV will also be certified for clean room applications. The compact and lightweight IRB 910INV is available in two models: one with a maximum load
of 3 kg and a working range of 350 mm; the other with a maximum load of 6 kg and a working range of 550 mm. For fast, precise point-to-point motion applications such as
electronics assembly, laboratory automation and gluing, ABB SCARA robots are ideal for customers.
